Acrochordons (Skin Tags)

These benign lesions appear as soft flesh-colored papules. They frequently occur on the neck, chest and arm pit. They tend to occur in areas of friction, where skin comes into constant contact with other skin or with clothing. Skin tags may be single or multiple, and they may become inflamed or painful. Skin tags can usually be snipped off, however larger lesions may require complete excision under local anesthesia.
